Genuine Worship

Glenda has a passion for leading worship and seeing God's people encounter his presence with passion. She got her start in Ministry at a young age and accepted the call as a Worship Leader at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church.  Glenda has served as Lead worship leader at Tabernacle Community Church under the shepherding of Pastor Artie Lindsay, Kizombo Kalumbula, and Marvin Williams.

Since moving to Grand Rapids from Illinois, Glenda has ministered as psalmist or guest artist at several events and services. Glenda has birthed "The Gathering," which is a fellowship of worship leaders in the West Michigan area from all denominations and cultures. The Gathering serves as a safe haven from the rigors of ministry leadership. a time of fellowship, fun, laughter, as well as a pool of resources from which to draw. As Glenda sought the face of God in early 2010 for the birth she felt ready to take place through her, God released the instructions for her first live recording. The Refreshing LIVE was recorded Friday, October 22, 2010 at 7pm at Sunshine Community Church. This night, people from all over West Michigan came and were refreshed by the weight of Glory and manifestation of the presence of God. We are still hearing testimonies from the people who were present that night. But Glenda did not do this alone. She is joined by anointed singers and musicians. Glenda has also sung background for Nate Glasper and I Live to Praise Ministries, Jeremy Simpson and Giving Back Worship as well as Jessica Reedy at the Destiny Music Awards 2010.
